Quality and Technical Coordinator - Ross on Wye, Herefordshire
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000

Our client is a leading manufacturer dedicated to producing products whose quality is recognized as second to none. This is a brand new role within the business due to a strong order book with growth into various export markets. They are looking for a Quality and Technical Coordinator to join their close-knit team.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Liaising with Manufacturing teams to ensure management systems, policies, and procedures are deployed and measured through audits.
2. Conducting internal audits & hygiene inspections.
3. Supporting customer complaints responses and internal investigations.
4. Maintaining the IMS system, reviewing procedures, work instructions, and master forms.
5. Driving a continuous improvement culture, working with departments to improve quality, reduce waste, and control costs.
6. Coordinating and developing environmental operations to ensure compliance and permit reviews.
7. Carrying out site inspections and audits for environmental compliance.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
1. Qualified to degree level, or equivalent.
2. Formal Environmental training.
3. ISO 14001 training.
4. HACCP trained.
5. Experience with waste management plans and ideally carbon and energy reporting.
6. Experience in designing remediation plans to address manufacturing and process quality issues.
