Job summary We would love to welcome you to our team at Longreach House who are striving to give the best care every day for all patients who need our support. You will be responsible for providing quality interventions and support to our patients; this will take the place in the form of 1:1's, supporting with running groups aimed at empowering people, helping patients access the community, engaging in meaningful activity and supporting with personal care tasks in hospital. You must be able to communicate in a sensitive manner. You will be an integral part of the multi-disciplinary Team. Longreach House has a strong multidisciplinary team including healthcare assistants, nurses, occupational therapists, social inclusion workers, clinical psychology, and psychiatry. Our focus however is on the service user and they are at the heart of the team. This is a full-time post 37.5 p/w working shifts across the 24 hour clock including weekends and nights. Main duties of the job To Support the delivery of care needs by carrying out assigned tasks involving direct care under the supervision of a registered nurse.To contribute to the evaluation of programmes of care by reporting to the clinical supervisor. As part of a team, provide high quality mental health care to the service users to promote recovery. To do all the above in a manner that maintains safety for all.
