Argenbright Security Europe Ltd is a leading provider of security services across Europe, dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service and innovative security solutions. As part of our ongoing growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our finance team.
The Sales and Purchase Ledger Clerk will be responsible for managing both sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring accurate recording and processing of all financial transactions. This role involves working closely with the finance team to maintain up-to-date financial records and supporting our operational teams with any related queries.
Responsibilities
* Process sales invoices and ensure timely invoicing to clients.
* Manage purchase orders and invoices, verifying accuracy and compliance with company policies.
* Maintain accurate records in the sales and purchase ledgers.
* Reconcile accounts receivables and payables on a regular basis.
* Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
* Respond to inquiries from suppliers and customers regarding accounts.
* Collaborate with other departments to facilitate accurate and timely processing of transactions.
* Prepare reports as required for management review.
Ideal Candidate
* Experience working on large ledgers receiving 500+ invoices per week, including foreign currency.
* Knowledge of Sage 200.
* Strong excel skills.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Must possess a drive for cost-saving.
* Desire to cross-train and assist other team members.
* Ability to work on process improvements, work across departments and address upstream problems.
* Proactive attitude.
* Able to work under pressure.
