The role will be a 6 month freelance contract for 50 days equivalent over 28 weeks (May – October 2025).
About you

Working with the board of Holywood CoFarm, you will:
* Oversee and manage all cultivation aspects of the two Holywood CoFarm sites, ensuring their smooth operation and productivity, including planting, cultivation and harvesting.
* Plan, implement and maintain sustainable, chemical free and nature-friendly market gardening practices with no-dig or minimal tillage systems, prioritising soil health, biodiversity, and environmental stewardship.
* Facilitate volunteers’ input into the work of Holywood CoFarm and provide guidance in growing skills (with delivery support from the board).
* Manage resources, equipment, supplies, and infrastructure, ensuring cost effectiveness and good organisation.
* Maintain accurate records related to work undertaken, crop performance and volunteer numbers, providing regular reports.
