We are currently seeking a professional to join our team in the role of: Senior Regulatory Custody Product Manager – Western Markets
The successful individual will lead the ongoing development of the Custody product management functions in line with agreed strategic objectives and act as the Regulatory Custody Product knowledge expert for Securities Services and Western Markets, internally and externally.
In this role you will:
* Lead the Western Markets Custody regulatory industry working groups for Securities Services whilst interacting with clients, compliance and product / senior management teams on custody regulatory matters.
* Secure custody compliance with Western Markets outsourcing regulatory rules and evolution in addition to defining and maintaining the operating model related to custody regulatory items such as credit monitoring, sanctions, custody dormant account policy.
* Be the Europe Custody Product lead securing the timely closure of any risk items impacting the Europe Custody book and ideate and produce product collateral insight documentation/thought leadership with involvement from product leads, client services and sales and business development to add greater value to clients and market prospects.
* Support custody regulatory vendor oversight, including maintenance of contracts, commercial deal propositions prior to Business Acceptance Committee (BAC) submissions in addition to assisting in periodic reviews of the custody product roadmap in collaboration with custody product leads.
* Adopt the product management and development methodology and support outputs from the phases of initiation, definition, analysis, design, business case and post product whilst driving and managing the products with the objective to contribute to the improvement of the overall profitability of Securities Services, to enhance the client experience.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Experience in custody, regulatory and securities services with expertise in product management and risk management is paramount.
* Proven track record in driving innovation and demonstrating thought leadership with knowledge of global market infrastructure.
* Strategic and creative thinker who is result oriented, able to drive ‘think client’ and ‘think P&L’ approach within defined risk parameters.
* Able to manage a complex and multi-disciplinary global environment with good leadership qualities of decision making, authority and a solid communicator, both verbally and in writing.
* Able to work in a pressurised environment and manage priorities effectively and be a good team player at the same time.
This role is based in London.
