IT Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer The Fortune group our recruiting for an IT Support Engineer for our MSP client based in Maidstone, with occasional travel to London office. You will deal with 2nd / 3rd line technical issues as well as lead / mentor the 1st / 2nd line team. The Suitable IT Support Engineer should have worked previously in a technical IT support role covering 2nd/3rd line support for at least 3 years. Additionally, the successful candidate will have shown dedication to their professional development by achieving industry recognised qualifications such as CompTIA accreditations or Microsoft MCP / MCSE and have direct experience of working with common MSP tools and technologies, such as RMM solutions, Azure and Office 365 as well as a demonstrable knowledge of market leading Cyber security solutions. Essential experience Proficient knowledge of Microsoft OS 7-10 and Windows Servers Azure AD, Active Directory, PowerShell, Windows Server & Hyper-V Office 365 & Azure (excellent knowledge and management experience of SharePoint a must) MDM Solutions Networking concepts TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN Market leading Firewalls, Switches and Wi-Fi solutions Market leading Backup and recovery solutions Market leading Cyber security solutions. Microsoft Intune Good communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals. Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to think analytically. Ability to work both independently and within a team environment. A customer focussed approach with a passion for delivering high-quality support.
