The firm has offices across all corners of the United Kingdom, but are looking in particular to strengthen their team in the Edinburgh office. They have great ambitions to continue their rapid growth this year, offer a great culture and flexible working. Part of that growth includes strengthening the Quality and Technical team with a Senior Manager.
Integral to the firm’s Audit Division is the Quality and Technical team, whose materials and methodologies form the basis of the service delivered to clients and the foundations for training junior Auditors coming up through the firm.
General responsibilities:
* Act as a key point of contact for Audit Partners, staff and business line senior leadership as a subject matter expert for the firm’s methodologies, support material and technical audit software.
* Review and address complex technical questions.
* Conduct high-risk mandatory reviews.
* Provide input and assist with the creation of supporting and learning material.
* Stay abreast of technical standards and regulations.
* Ensure the firm upholds its standards on quality and financial reporting developments by keeping the Audit team updated.
Requirements:
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
* Adept with IFRS and UK GAAP.
* Experience in a UK practice environment managing within a technical or quality Audit function.
* Sense of accountability founded upon strong technical knowledge.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to liaise across all levels of seniority.
* Right to work without sponsorship in the UK.
