Are you looking for an opportunity to work within Occupational Therapy in a varied setting? An opportunity has arisen to join a supportive Occupational Therapy team across UHDB who are passionate about the evolving role of the Occupational Therapist.
You will have 6 monthly rotations (some 1 year) that cover core areas including Surgery, Specialist Medicine, Cancer, Elderly Medicine, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Neurology, and Outpatient experience.
You will also be exposed to community settings and have opportunities for rotation within community-based rotations. Candidates will need to be able to drive and have access to their own car.
We will support applications from 3rd year students and return to practice candidates.
Main duties of the job
This post will work across our hospital sites in Derby, Burton, Lichfield, and Tamworth, offering exciting rotational opportunities to support the development of core Occupational Therapy skills.
You will be required to contribute to a 7 day extended hour service and hold a full clean driving licence.
The OT profession has a strong preceptorship programme at UHDB to support your transition from student to Band 5.
