Job Description
Keltbray Infrastructure Services Ltd are looking for a Site Engineer to work for their Highways division in Cumbria. This is to work collaboratively with our customers to deliver critical national infrastructure projects across England’s highway network, as well as major built environment and flood alleviation projects in our towns and cities.

Working within Keltbray Highways Business Unit, and forming a part of the Operational team, the Site Engineer plays an integral part in delivering schemes to a high standard, on time and budget. Reporting to the Sub Agent, core responsibilities encompass project delivery in line with our lean construction process and effective QESH management.
We have an immediate requirement on our A66 North Trans-Pennine project as we prepare to commence advanced works on this £1bn + project being delivered collaboratively with our partners. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and innovative to be at the forefront of delivering effective, safe and sustainable solutions that will meet our client’s outcomes.
Core responsibilities include;
Setting out, levelling and surveying the construction site
Ensure compliance with construction drawings and record any variances
Overseeing quality control
Ensure Site diaries and allocation sheets are produced
Keep contemporary records
Review Cl32 programme with site team
Monitor subcontractor and supplier performance
Attend weekly site meetings
Coordinate with the design manager to ensure that the design activities are visible and that all activities are aligned to support the programme
