Job Title: Band 6 Physiotherapist Location: Leytonstone Duration: 3 months Hours: Full-Time Start Date: ASAP About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at Barts Health NHS Foundation Trust, based at Newham General Hospital. This role involves managing a caseload focused on Acute Medicine and Respiratory care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality physiotherapy services to patients, ensuring optimal recovery and rehabilitation. This position is available now and the pay rate for this role will be up to £27 per hour. Main responsibilities of this Physiotherapy vacancy: Conduct thorough assessments of patients’ physical conditions, particularly in acute medical and respiratory settings. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients’ needs. Provide physiotherapy interventions to patients in acute medical and respiratory care. Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and self-management strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development initiatives. Essential requirements of this Physiotherapy vacancy: HCPC registration Right to work in the UK Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working in a similar healthcare setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Commitment to continuous professional development. Desirable: Experience in unplanned care and DTA beds. Knowledge of current best practices in physiotherapy.
