We're looking for a strong Internal Communications Consultant, to join a dynamic comms team. Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager for Corporate Communications, the successful candidate will support the development and implementation of an ambitious internal communications and employee engagement strategy across the business. The role provides a fantastic opportunity to play a part in shaping the culture of the organisation, deliver innovative communication approaches and be part of a growing internal communications team. Working with the corporate and HR teams you'll design internal communications to create an environment that allows everyone to perform at their best, both individually and collectively, to make a difference and help us shape the world for the better. The role will operate in a Hybrid Variable way of working, on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. What you will be doing: Support the delivery of the corporate internal communication's strategic objectives in line with the UK business strategy and priorities. Build relationships and work with senior stakeholders, including key HR, sector, Group and UK family stakeholders to understand requirements (and produce project briefs as needed) and inform messaging. Provide advice based on a clear understanding of our organisational culture, business strategy and colleague sentiment. Manage content across our internal communications channels, including intranet, video and events. Deliver corporate communications that are relatable, open and approachable, in line with campaign plans (where applicable), bringing our business strategy to life for our employees. Create impactful and innovative content to maximise engagement with internal campaigns and business initiatives. Champion people initiatives involving change, including wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and flexible working through regular drumbeat corporate communications, as well as specific campaigns. Support in the development and engagement strategy for a corporate messaging app. Manage corporate communications measurement and reporting data. Support with content collation, organisation and review for regular corporate channels, including the bulletin, Connected and the Quarterly People Manager update. Support the wider Communications team priorities, including UK family wide initiatives and our commitment to accessible communications across our channels. What you'll bring: Internal communications experience within complex organisations with geographically dispersed employees. Ideally having specialised in HR and engagement communications. Strong stakeholder manager Excellent project management skills An eye for a good story - ability to identify, procure and tailor stories and updates from across our UK businesses that are relevant and engaging to central audiences. A Skilled writer - with the ability to write effectively across all internal communication channels, adapting style appropriately between different channels, and confident feeding back to team members and stakeholders across job levels.
