Role: Senior Management Accountant Salary: £55,000 Location: Kings Hill/Hybrid Are you an experienced and driven Management Accountant ready to take the lead in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join our Finance division, where you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance, managing budgets, and providing crucial financial insights to shape strategic decisions. As Senior Management Accountant, you will: Manage the operational financial function within the HR Services division, ensuring accurate monthly accounts, forecasts, and budgets. Build strong relationships with senior management and operational leaders to provide financial guidance and insights. Consolidate P&L statements with detailed variance analysis, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant. Oversee operational control accounts (e.g. prepayments, accruals) and identify risks and opportunities to minimise future cost pressures. Review financial processes and recommend improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy. Manage and mentor a Junior Management Accountant, helping them develop their skills and achieve their potential. Offer strategic advice on the financial implications of operational decisions, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. Assist with payroll cost monitoring, headcount control, and expenditure management in line with internal controls. What We Require: ACCA, ACA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent experience). Extensive experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes. Proven track record in managing P&L statements, with the ability to handle complex financial data. Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities. Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office applications.
