We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a ofsted good primary school in Great Barr. The successful candidate will support teaching and learning across the school, with a particular focus on phonics and Special Educational Needs (SEN) support. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons. Provide targeted phonics support to small groups and individual pupils. Assist in the implementation of SEN strategies to support students with additional learning needs. Foster a positive and engaging learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other support staff. Requirements: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). Experience working within a primary school setting. Strong knowledge of phonics teaching methods. Previous experience supporting children with SEN. A patient, caring, and supportive approach to learning. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
