We have partnered with an established Educational organisation, based in the Coventry area.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Human Resources Advisor to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with and at times independently leading HR projects, advice, policy and operational issues as appropriate.
Key Duties and Responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor Role:
1. Ensure, with feedback from HR Manager, HR policies are up to date and reflect best practice and legislation.
2. Contribute to design and delivery of staff development including design and delivery of internal training.
3. Work with departmental managers and HR team to ensure all appropriate pre-employment checks are completed for new staff.
4. Maintain, produce and evaluate HR data to inform decision making.
5. Lead and take ownership of specific HR-related projects, with support as appropriate.
6. Be aware of legislative/regulatory requirements which impact upon the operations of the HR function and take the necessary actions to ensure adherence.
7. Be responsible for developing and maintaining skills and knowledge to competently perform own role through research and training as identified during the appraisal process and ongoing feedback.
To be considered for the role of Human Resources Advisor you will require:
1. HR generalist experience.
2. Exposure to ER matters with confidence to resolve from start to resolution.
3. Recruitment experience – posting job ads, screening candidates, sourcing for vacancies.
4. Coaching & mentoring stakeholders within the business.
5. Reviewing policies & procedures on a regular basis and making necessary amendments.
6. CIPD Level 5 qualified essential.
Key information about the Human Resources Advisor Role:
1. Salary – £30,000 – £34,000.
2. Full time Monday – Friday.
3. Contracted Role – 12 months.
