Equans is looking for a Trainee Design Coordinator to join our team in Leeds, on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
* Assist in the efficient management of the design information process both at tender and contract stages.
* Coordinate the Design process and information management with limited management support.
* Be responsible (with management assistance) for the design & consultant management for allocated new build contracts.
* Solve technical issues that arise on site such as unforeseen drawing amendments and technical queries regarding building regulations and planning.
* Monitor compliance with works on site as well as in accordance with the Building Regulations/ Building Safety Regulatory Requirements.

Who are we looking for?
* Construction Management or Architectural Technologist Degree or A levels/ Level 3 in relevant subject. (A-level or Level 3 Employee will have the opportunity to obtain a degree while working on the job)
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Excellent communication skills
