The team are looking for an existing band 6 Physiotherapist looking to build on their skills through this post.
Main duties of the job
If you are successful in your application to this post, some of the responsibilities you will be expected to manage and deliver on are outlined below.
To manage own patient caseload and be responsible for a defined area of service, working without direct supervision.
To independently perform advanced assessment of outpatients with diverse presentations and complex physical and psychological conditions to provide a diagnosis and deliver an individualised and specialised treatment programme of care.
To work across the local community to provide a specialist service to patients in pulmonary rehabilitation

Job description
Job responsibilities
1. To work across the local community to provide a specialist service to patients in pulmonaryrehabilitation.
2. The post-holder will be a member of CSH Respiratory Care Team providing ahigh-quality pulmonary rehabilitation service.
3. To be the lead Pulmonary Rehabilitation team member for a designated pulmonaryrehabilitation group working in conjunction with the Highly Specialist Therapists and Nursesfor the whole of the Pulmonary Rehabilitation Service.
4. To independently perform advanced assessment of outpatients with diverse presentationsand complex physical and psychological conditions to provide a diagnosis and deliver anindividualised and specialised treatment programme of care.
5. To manage own patient caseload and be responsible for a defined area of service, workingwithout direct supervision.
6. Supervision takes the form of regular formal training andcompetency assessment, appraisals, clinical reasoning sessions and peer review.
7. Access toadvice and support from a senior physiotherapist is always available.
8. To use evidence-based principles/current best practice to assess, plan, implement andevaluate interventions.
9. To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomouspractitioner with freedom to act on own interpretation of data.
