Pricing Analyst Salary Circa £35,000 We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our growing and supportive team. This is a great job for someone who wants to work in a dynamic, commercial environment whilst progressing their career working for the UK's leading Insurance, Wealth and Retirement business A bit about the job: The Intermediary Pricing team is part of the Individual Protection Commercial area. The team is responsible for delivering value to the business and achieving good customer outcomes through our pricing. They deal with a variety of products including both established ones and new launches. As a Pricing Analyst you will have the opportunity to get involved in Actuarial modelling and support pricing decisions, additionally you will: Build a strong understanding of various data sources which help us understand the market we operate in, our competitiveness and the business we write Use a variety of data analysis and visualisation techniques to help us make decisions Work with internal and external data teams to ensure continued accuracy of our data and adapting it to meet the business needs Coordinating and testing pricing changes on our system Improve the efficiency of pricing tools by transitioning them from spreadsheets to Python code Skills and experience we're looking for: Excellent numerical skill, ideally with a numerical degree or strong A level maths Strong Microsoft Excel skill, communication skills; ability to interact effectively with colleagues across the Protection Business Good attention to detail and drive for improvement Ability to work independently and use initiative to propose solutions Experience of Python coding or enthusiasm to learn it What you'll get for this role: Our purpose - with you today, for a better tomorrow - is a promise we make to our colleagues too.
