Job Role: We are looking for an enthusiastic graduate engineer with a passion for problem-solving and innovation. You will work on the structural design and analysis of elements and frames in concrete, steel, timber, and masonry, collaborating directly with architects and other members of the design team. This role provides a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop your expertise in structural engineering. Main Responsibilities: Assisting in the preparation of project reviews, fee proposals, and tender documents for prospective clients in domestic and commercial sectors. Conducting site inspections of existing buildings and monitoring construction progress to ensure design compliance. Supporting project delivery, budgeting, and client interaction under the guidance of senior engineers. Learning from and collaborating with experienced engineers while enhancing your technical knowledge and professional development. Building strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and design teams to support business growth. Engaging in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities to further your career progression. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (MEng/BEng). A strong interest in structural design and analysis with knowledge of concrete, steel, timber, and masonry structures. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a keen attention to detail. Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively within a team. Basic understanding of standard engineering practices, techniques, procedures, and structural principles. Proficiency in engineering software (such as AutoCAD, Tekla, or Revit) is desirable but not essential.
