Supplier Relationship Manager - FTSE 100 FMCG Leader
Salary: £75-80,000 plus bonus and package
Location: 3 days per week in office, Leeds
A prestigious FTSE 100 FMCG organisation is investing heavily in its procurement operations and is looking for a dynamic Supplier Relationship Manager to help build and shape its SRM function. With the goal of optimising supplier relationships and driving operational excellence across the business, this is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on the organisation.
This high-level SRM role sits within a rapidly evolving procurement function, and the successful candidate will play a key role in establishing and driving the SRM strategy across a broad supplier base. Working in a complex, matrix-managed business, you'll have the autonomy to shape processes, influence senior stakeholders, and build a framework that delivers value and long-term supplier performance across the FMCG sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Building the SRM Function: Lead the development and implementation of the SRM framework, setting up processes and systems to drive supplier value and operational excellence.
* Supplier Engagement: Develop strategic relationships with key suppliers, driving continuous improvement, cost efficiencies, and innovation to ensure mutual success.
* Stakeholder Management: Secure high-level buy-in from internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and support for SRM initiatives.
* Project Management: Take ownership of complex SRM projects, balancing multiple priorities while managing your diary effectively and working in a high-pressure environment.
* Value Creation: Drive value for both the supplier base and the business, ensuring supplier performance is consistently optimised.
* Process Leadership: Set up and manage supplier-related processes and systems, ensuring they are aligned with the overall procurement strategy and business objectives.
