Communities Activities Assistant (Part Time)
Salary: A GBP 14,783 part:time (22.5 hours per week) based on A GBP 24,309 full:time
Closing Date: Applicants are not time limited and will be assessed and invited to interview on a rolling basis.
Hours: 22.5 hours per week Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 09.30 : 17.30.

We are looking for someone who thrives on working with people of all ages and from all backgrounds and is willing and able to adapt to working in different settings. In this role you will assist Community Development Officers across a range of activities, including youth groups, lunch clubs, art groups and community events by preparing resources, supporting participants to engage, and assisting group leaders in the smooth running of sessions.
This fantastic part time opportunity has become available due to an internal appointment to another role within the team.
What we need from you:
* Experience of assisting with group work as a volunteer, student or employee
* Experience of dealing directly with the public
* Ability to use and access emails and to use basic MS Office software
* Good verbal communication skills, one to one and in groups.
* A commitment to working in an inclusive way and a desire to have a positive impact on the community of Salisbury
* A positive attitude to all tasks from setting up rooms, to playing team games with young people, from serving meals to preparing craft resources.
