New Business Account Manager
Location: Camberley
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 + Commission
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
My client, an FMCG food-related company, is seeking a New Business Account Manager to join their fast-growing team. The purpose of this role is to contribute to sustaining and growing new business, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and driving revenue. To apply for this role, you will need experience in New Business/Account management; experience within a food-related company/FMCG is desirable.
Daily Duties
1. Develop a trust relationship with existing customers, ensuring that all opportunities are maximized through formulating and delivering agreed Business plans.
2. Grow share of wallet/category within the existing customer base.
3. Use customer data to develop and grow customer turnover to achieve sales targets.
4. Utilize promotions and other sales campaigns to grow customer relationships.
5. Achieve financial sales and cash targets within budget.
6. Drive new business growth through direct prospecting and pipelines.
7. Deliver results and achieve individual business objectives and performance indicators while contributing to team goals, targets, revenue, and profitability.
8. Plan effectively for the geographic area to drive maximum efficiencies.
9. Assist in existing customer retention by analyzing and monitoring low or non-trade accounts.
10. Manage ledger tele canvassing and new business activity.
11. Ensure all customers are contacted for order capture and area growth.
12. Establish a robust call schedule planning weekly to ensure effective customer management across the ledger.
13. Establish a high brand saturation within the customer set.
14. Collaborate and partner with internal and external contacts, ensuring visibility via CRM.
