Your duties will include:
* Organising and supporting the sales team so that they are knowledgeable about the hotel and offer excellent customer service at every point of communication.
* Managing incoming enquires, from conversion through to a seamless transition to our operations team on the day of the event
* Overseeing all event paperwork whilst coordinating with all relevant hotel departments to ensure every department understands all requirements.
* Recognising opportunities to maximise revenue, conversion, and drive repeat business through proactive and reactive sales.
* Overseeing forecasting and reporting and associated administration associated with the role
* Building and maintaining positive relationships with both new and existing customers.
The successful candidate will be experienced in hotel sales and have supervisory experience. They will approach tasks with a can-do attitude, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues alike. This is a busy office and experience in Microsoft office and hotel software such as opera cloud will be advantageous.
