Bring your skills as an Associate Director in Mechanical Engineering to play a key role in all aspects of mechanical engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities to work on iconic projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all facets of mechanical engineering across sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We deliver industry-leading solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Current opportunities are available in our Cardiff office.
Your Purpose
* Own and lead teams undertaking technical design work following relevant standards and high-quality benchmarks.
* Define project briefs, scopes of work, and contribute to bid proposals.
* Manage time and budgets effectively to meet project milestones and schedules.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas teams to deliver integrated design solutions.
* Set quality assurance standards in design processes.
* Develop and manage mechanical engineering capabilities within the practice.
What you can bring
* Chartered or Fellow Mechanical Engineer.
* Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary projects.
* Deep knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, screens, and chemical dosing plants, along with a strong understanding of UK design standards and practices.
