Our client is looking for a Sales Account Manager to join an existing team of 3. The business has a turnover of 6 million. You will be taking on existing customer accounts which forecast 650K. Our client is looking for the right person that has an enthusiastic approach to managing customers and growing accounts.
The business is a distributor and works within Retail, Construction, Industrial, and Engineering, selling a wide range of products.

As a Sales Account Manager, you will:
* Proactively manage existing customer accounts
* Develop long-term relationships with existing business contacts to ensure the business is the first choice.
* Forecast sales pipeline and plan in advance
* Meet and exceed budgeted sales and profit targets
* Assist the External Sales team with activities relating to customers and updates
* Record all activity on an internal bespoke CRM system
* Process orders and feedback lead times
* Liaise with production on customers’ orders and keep in touch with schedules
Experience required:
* Minimum of 2 years sales account management/internal sales experience
* Customer service experience and excellent organizational skills
* Target-driven and commercial awareness
* Able to work within a team as well as from own initiative
* Computer literate
