Commercial Gas Engineer\nNottingham - will work only in Nottingham\n£42,000 per annum plus van\n\nPermanent local mobile role for an engineer with commercial gas qualifications to work only in Nottingham. This role will suit an engineer that does not want to travel or stay away, you will only work in the Nottingham area in this role. \n\nMain duties will include:\n\nWork as a key part of the Mobile Support Team supplying gas competency to external clients.\nCarry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) to boilers and associated plant, including Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical Services.\nUndertake project works and minor turnkey projects to Boiler plant and associated equipment.\nProvide detailed reporting with predictive times for remedial and chargeable works, and life cycle condition reporting.\nProvide a high level of Gas technical and hands on support in the provision of our service delivery.\nCarry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Heating Plant and associated mechanical systems.\nAdherence to set engineering standards in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Act (HASAWA) requirements.\nEnsure onsite Quality Assurance procedures are adhered to in all respects and to maintain accurate records/documentation associated with the mechanical aspects of the PPM and plant.\nParticipate in out of hours on call rota.\nRespond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues, and help desk requests associated with the boiler, heating and ventilation systems, pumps, water tanks, valves, pipe work and associated mechanical systems or items.\nCo-ordinate visiting specialist sub-contractors associated with mechanical aspects of the PPM schedules.\nRespond to call outs and cover breakdowns and emergencies associated with the mechanical services aspects of the contract as required.\nAttend meetings as required, and provide technical interface with the SMH on site.\nProvide reports in relation to work and equipment as required.\nProactively work towards the growth of the contract into other service provisions be they Mechanical and Electrical, Life Cycle replacements, Project works, etc.\nCarry out any other adhoc duties as directed by Line Manager.\nOn offer is a permanent position, paying £42,000 per annum, working only in Nottingham Monday - Friday. 25 days annual leave plus stats, van, pension and private healthcare.\n\nTo apply for this position please click 'apply now' to forward your CV
