Previous experience of the NHS is desirable but not essential; above all you must be comfortable working with numbers and people, a logical and analytical thinker, and highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft suite of products. We are looking for someone with excellent problem solving skills, and the creative vision to design effective reports that meet user requirements. You will have excellent people skills with the ability to translate abstract concepts into tangible solutions. You will have a flexible and adaptable approach to work with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking an experienced person to undertake the role of Senior Information Analyst within the Information Analysis Team. Acting as Account Manager for one Acute Hospital and managing other acute managers at a further two hospital acute sites. The role also take responsibility for line management of analyst working within cancer and obstetrics.
The successful candidate will also be a key stakeholder on the department and health boards analytical modelling and forecasting while researching new ways of working in these areas. The applicant will also be required to attend national groups looking at modelling and forecasting.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
