Due to securing multiple new contracts, our client based within a state-of-the-art modern manufacturing facility in Rotherham S60 is looking for a TIG Welder to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. As a TIG Welder, you will be reporting into the Manufacturing Manager and will be responsible for working as part of a small close-knit team in a prestige environment. Day-to-day duties will be on average 70% welding and 30% finishing work on castings. This will include:
* TIG welding casting repairs to ASME IX standards
* Maintenance checks for chambers and welding sets
* Upkeep of weld wire usage logs
* Visual inspection of others' welds (post-training)
* Assessment of excavation site
You will have previous experience of working as a TIG welder, ideally working with castings, although this is not essential as training can be provided to the right candidate. You will ideally have previously worked to ASME IX standards.
You will:
* Possess a willingness to work overtime as and when required.
* Be happy to undergo further weld qualifications and training.
* Have a positive and eager attitude towards work and learning new things.

The initial role is based on working rotating AM/PM shifts Monday - Thursday: 6am - 2pm & Friday 5am - 1pm, Monday - Thursday: 2pm - 10pm & Friday 1pm- 9pm. The company is looking to introduce a night shift (10pm- 6am) for those candidates that are interested; please still apply regardless of what shift pattern you are seeking as all shift pattern preferences will be considered.
