We are looking for a Security Architect who possesses a good understanding of cloud security controls and tooling, ideally in AWS, although experience with GCP and Azure will also be beneficial. You should have a solid grasp of secure coding and application design principles. A good knowledge of the eCommerce threat landscape, along with a pragmatic approach to implementing relevant controls to mitigate those threats, is essential. Additionally, we expect experience in building strong governance into guardrails and applying controls and mitigations iteratively in an agile/DevSecOps environment. Practical experience of governing solutions within an architecture function and an awareness of IT industry trends while being vendor and technology neutral will also be vital.
As a Security Architect, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and enforcing the frameworks, processes, and technical designs that safeguard our data, systems, and overall digital ecosystem. You will serve as the primary bridge between business priorities and needs, ensuring that all technology initiatives are aligned with robust security principles. Your role involves developing enterprise-wide data strategies to guarantee the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets and establishing standards, policies, and guidelines that align with regulatory frameworks and industry best practices. You will collaborate with various teams to drive the adoption of encryption standards, design layered defense architectures, define security strategies for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, and establish a Secure Development Lifecycle across all application development teams.
