We've got you covered Due to business growth, we need a Business Development Manager to join our team Reporting to the Head of Sales and working directly with our Pre-Commissioning and Commissioning division, you will improve the organisations market position and achieve financial growth through the identification and securing of new business. Responsible for defining long-term strategic goals within all industry verticals Nationally. Key Responsibilities: Business Development Development of personal sales strategy, inclusive of target lists and sales targets top 10 national want to have customers within industry vertical. Focused new business approach to develop key national relationships. Develop an industry vertical strategy for a minimum of 2 industry types to become Rock Experts in sales. Ownership and development of strategic national frameworks. Prospect for potential new national clients and turn this into increased business, contacting an agreed number of potential clients each week inclusive of telesales functions. Providing Quotations to new clients / prospects / projects. Production of Contract Brief and mobilisation plan for new contracts. Identification of sales cross sell or upsell opportunities working with regional sales teams. Presentation of new products and services to new framework customers. Training for clients / Epic Training. Produce and maintain client database with new and potential clients. Survey sites for quotation purposes. Accurately maintain and report on sales performance. Development of new products within industry verticals. Produce PQQ and Tender documents with Bid Team as required and determined by project size. Account / Contract Handover Mobilise new contracts alongside Mobilisation manager with involvement from account management team. Production of contract brief for hand over and embedding account manager and hand over in month 6. Assist with the mobilisation of contracts. Work with account managers to meet customer needs initial hand over. Liaison with clients Serve as an interface between the client and the Company. Attend contract review meetings to support account manager when required. Build effective working relationships with clients generating additional workloads wherever possible. Dealing with client requests. Communicating client agendas and requirements to other members of staff (including the creation and delivery of Contract Briefs). Ensures that image and standards are maintained at all times. Produce PQQ and Tender documents with Bid Team as required and determined by project size. Site based working Work away from time to time, this requirement shall be defined by the operational needs of the business. Required Skills: Pre-Commissioning/ Commissioning experience desirable. Vocational training courses relating to water hygiene. Previous exposure to the Water Hygiene sector either in an operating environment or sales. Proven sales track record. Confident IT user, Word, Excel and Outlook. Confidence and a persuasive manner. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
