Job summary
We are recruiting for Meet and Greet Coordinators working a minimum of 24 hours. The role serves as thefirst point of contact for patients visiting the GP surgery. This role involveswelcoming patients, managing initial inquiries, ensuring smooth patient flowwithin the practice, and supporting administrative functions and reception desk duties. The Meet andGreet Coordinator plays a crucial role in creating a positive patientexperience and ensuring efficient operation of the practice.
Please be mindful a requirement of this role is to be able to work early 8:00am starts and late 18:30pm finish.

Main duties of the job
9. Reception Duties - Warmly welcome patients and visitors upon arrival,Verify patient appointments and direct them to the appropriate waitingarea,Assist with patient check-in and ensure all necessary information iscollected and entered into the system,Assist patients tolog parking details and extend parking time when required,
10. Customer Service - Provide information and assistance to patients regarding practiceservices, appointment scheduling, and general enquiries,Address patient concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate staffmember when necessary
11. Patient FlowCo-ordinator - Monitor the waiting area and coordinate with clinical staff to managepatient flow and minimise wait times,Inform patients of any delays or changes in their appointment times
12. FacilityManagement - Ensure the reception and waiting areas are clean, tidy, andwell-maintained,Monitor supplies andinform the Reception Supervisors of any needs for replenishment
13. TeamCollaboration - Work closely with clinical and administrative staff to ensure efficientpractice operations.
14. Physicalrequirements - Ability to stand for shift,Capacity to assist patients with mobility issues if necessary, Comfortable to climb stairs and use lift to assist patient, Able to push wheelchair to assist patients when needed.
15. General - To have a thorough knowledge of all Practice procedures,Undertakeany other additional duties appropriate to the post as requested by theSupervisor, Senior Management Team or Partners.
