Can you spare an hour or two each week? Our ‘Meals on Heels’ service offers hot, home-cooked meals that are delivered to the door. We are looking for volunteers to help deliver hot meals at lunchtimes (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays) in the local area, including Sheringham, Cromer, and Holt.
Mileage will be paid.
Time Commitment
Lunchtimes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Fridays each week.
About the Organisation
Age Concern North Norfolk believes each person is unique with their own life history, personality, likes, and dislikes. It is important to build a profile of each person so it becomes easier to treat them as individuals. We arrange an individual programme of stimulating activities to suit each person’s preferences while also offering a wide range of day service care to meet the needs of each individual.
Our aim is to maintain our clients’ independence and help them continue to live at home and participate in community life for as long as possible. Through attending our day service hub, our clients can have regular social contact, reducing social isolation and helping to maintain mental abilities.
