Salary: £45,864 per annum dependent upon experience + bonus

Aeropeople have partnered with a rapidly expanding MRO who have been given a new fleet of military aircraft currently undergoing conversion. They are currently looking for Aircraft Mechanics to be based at their site in Birmingham.
Their services include aircraft repairs, modifications, and regulatory certifications. They have 4 aircraft hangars, 2 interior modification facilities and more than 40 line maintenance stations across the world. These facilities fuel the company’s drive to seamlessly blend a growing portfolio of MRO services to deliver all-encompassing aircraft maintenance, engineering and modification solutions to the global aviation industry.
This is a very exciting time to join them as they have numerous positions available within the current team of 100 highly skilled engineers who are looking after the 3 aircraft fleet.
Working as part of the Structures team you will form part of the mechanical side of the programme and report to the Lead Structures Technician regarding the day to day activities including progress. As part of a highly skilled team, you will have in-depth knowledge and experience of Aircraft Mechanical systems.
This is a challenging and rewarding Mechanical role, working on a high-profile programme carrying out the major structural disassembly, modification and rebuild.
You will work on a 5/5/4 shift pattern, carrying out a mixture of early and late shifts.
Main Responsibilities:
* Complete strip/removal of aircraft equipment.
* Installation of complex mechanical assemblies.
* Executing the highest levels of maintenance standards and ensuring the aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner to customer’s full satisfaction.
* Maintain the highest standard of safety and cleanliness, complying with all company procedures and policies.
* Fully comply with the minimum requirements for Health & Safety in the work place and COSHH regulations.
* Major component removal and installation.
* Aircraft system testing.
About You:
* Previous aircraft production experience.
* Previous live aircraft mechanical experience.
* Military aircraft experience advantageous.
* Good knowledge of Aircraft systems.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Organisational skills.
* Excellent leadership and communication skills.
* Knowledge of MS Office applications.
