With a strong pipeline of public sector projects, this role offers autonomy and the chance to make a significant impact within the firm.
The Senior Building Surveyor's Role
This opportunity is perfect for a Senior Building Surveyor looking to take ownership of their work while contributing to a team-oriented environment. You will work with social housing and public sector clients, providing a range of services, including damp and mould inspections, party wall matters, contract administration, and project management.
As the Senior Building Surveyor, you will also play a key role in nurturing existing client relationships, driving new business opportunities, and collaborating closely with your team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivering surveying services to social housing and public sector clients.
2. Managing contract administration and project works.
3. Conducting party wall matters and damp and mould inspections.
4. Developing existing client accounts and identifying new business opportunities.
The Ideal Senior Building Surveyor
1. MRICS qualified (preferred but not essential).
2. RICS-accredited degree (essential).
3. Proven experience in construction within a private practice environment.
4. Commercially minded with strong client management skills.
5. Able to work independently and hit the ground running on projects.
