Software Tester - Part-time (London or remote)
You will be part of a wider team that relies on your scrutiny to ensure Fora Health is safe and reliable for the patients and clinicians who use it. You will bring the best methodologies of software testing to bear on our iOS, Android and Web based interfaces. You will be a first-line of feedback to our design and engineering teams to help keep them on track.
We are also interested in candidates who can bring additional skills as we look to automate our processes as we build Fora Health to work across a range of patient and clinical populations in the US and the UK.
You will be supported by our senior team members to grow as we have the opportunity to develop Fora Health, establishing new use cases and creating new functionality to further improve their impact on patient lives.
We are offering this position as a part-time role (assumed 2 or 3 days per week) with flexible hours. Depending on the candidate, we can agree on a schedule that works for you.
We are looking for someone who:
* Enjoys working in small teams with designers, software engineers, clinicians, and scientists.
* Understands the vital role of software testing as part of building amazing services.
* Has experience testing web and mobile applications.
* Can work collaboratively with engineers and designers.
* Can communicate well to ask questions and write concise and helpful bug reports.
* Can run test scripts in a systematic way.
* Has excellent attention to detail.
* Has the ability to find edge cases and flaws that no one else noticed.
* We’d especially love to hear from candidates that have experience or interest in test automation (but it’s not essential).
What we are offering
* Part-time role with flexible scheduling.
* Competitive salary in the range of £35,000 – £50,000 per year full-time equivalent.
* Mentorship and the opportunity to develop new skills.
* Pension programme.
* The ability to work remotely.
* Office location, 5 minutes walk from Hoxton Overground - should it be suitable.
