8. Monitoring and evaluating student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
9. Plan and deliver dynamic, hands-on geography lessons that inspire curiosity and critical thinking in students.
10. Foster a love for geography and exploration, encouraging students to investigate and analyse the world around them.
11. Contribute to the design and development of an innovative geography curriculum that emphasises global perspectives and environmental awareness.
12. Lead and participate in geography-related extracurricular activities, field trips, and clubs.
The following qualifications &skills are required to work as a geography teacher:
13. Outstanding communication skills and inter-Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK
14. An enhanced DBS on the update service
15. Eligibility to work in the UK
16. 2 proven professional references
17. Establish strict guidelines for pupil's behaviour
18. Possess a strong enthusiasm for instructing and the ability to organise and present engaging classes.
19. Flexibility and adaptability are necessary to function in many educational settings.
20. Strong familiarity with curricular standards, teaching strategies, and geographic material.
