A genuine opportunity to develop and challenge the bridge between design and manufacturing in an F1 team without miles of red tape and a great budget Dreamy right? The position; You and the team will work closely with the composite design and stress engineers by providing composite expertise to assist with DFM. You will use CAD to help understand the model and Fibersim to generate ply boundaries for laser projection data for the shopfloor to ensure a right first time approach. This F1 team is no stranger to CI and has some established systems already in place, however, this is a newly formed position in a team in which you will take a lead role. In this role, you will have full buy in from both the head of design and head of manufacturing as they both see this as key to mitigating quality issues and improving lead times. What's on offer; I could genuinely write paragraphs on the offerings in this exciting team, aside from the excellent salary, bonus scheme, healthcare, pension and free lunch. Some of the stuff you are probably more interested in would be a true opportunity to work in an elite team of likeminded individuals and be given autonomy in your own projectswhat else could you want? What's required; Now as you can imagine an opportunity like this is going to require some specific experience, to be successful your previous experience should include; CAD experience, open to software. Ability to build relationships and influence. Produced complex composite components, (industries are open). So, to recap; you are both confident and competent in the complete end-to-end composites manufacturing process. You've had experience of manufacturing complex parts and you're good at building relationships. If this matches your experience, we would love to hear from you.
