Job Description Clinical Specialist Radiographer - MRI London: The Princess Grace Hospital Full time, 37.5 hours per week – 5 day working pattern (Mon-Fri), with opportunity of 3 longs days, depending on rotation, with on-call requirements Permanent Salary: Up to £54,500 dependent on experience We are recruiting for an experienced Clinical Specialist MRI Radiographer to join our Imaging team at The Princess Grace, and its three satellite sites, currently rated “outstanding” and “Good” by the CQC. As a Specialist MRI Radiographer, you will focus on providing a customer focused high quality diagnostic radiography service to our patients and service users. You will receive support to ensure that you always deliver the best standard of diagnostic imaging and efficiency to patients. The role will be solely based within our MRI teams across our 4 sites under the Princess Grace banner. The sites are in the renowned medical district covering Princess Grace main hospital, 30 Devonshire Outpatient Centre, the London Digestive Centre and Institute of Sport, Exercise & Health, in accordance with business needs. The MRI department at Princess Grace consists of four sites and five magnets, 1x 3.0 T and 3x 1.5 T including the latest flagship models from Siemens and a second 3 T magnet to be installed in summer 2024. Our team of highly skilled and experienced radiographers work with leading sub-speciality consultant radiologists to deliver a five-star patient experience in world class facilities for both inpatients and outpatients. The department can deliver a wide range of exams from dedicated Musculoskeletal exams to dedicated breast, whole body, urology, neuro and GI MRI studies. You will be required to: Provide a professional standard of excellence in MRI services for all patients Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all MRI imaging and patient pathways Adjust and utilise the appropriate sequences tailored to the specific scan requirements, collaborating closely with radiologists to ensure optimal imaging outcomes identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner Assist with staff orientation and training of new team members, audits and QA Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance records At HCA UK we care about what you care about. What you’ll bring: HCPC registered Degree within Radiography Extensive experience working within MRI, either as a Band 6 or Band 7 equivalent In-depth knowledge of processes and procedures within MRI scanning In-depth knowledge of MRI safety on patients with implants Experience working with Siemens MRI scanners Why HCA UK?
