You will oversee and ensure that all service, repair, campaign, and other work identified is planned and allocated in accordance with both Manufacturer, VOSP, and customer requirements, and that all work is completed to time and defined quality standards.
In support of vehicle repairs and service requirements, you will ensure the identification, planning, and distribution of parts to the field-based engineers to ensure JIT delivery processes that support the service and repair of customer vehicles. This includes, with the support of your technicians, the management of impressed van stocks required by the field service engineers to support day-to-day service requirements.
You will ensure that all staff comply with the need to return all paperwork within agreed timescales and to the correct standards while managing customer expectations. Job profitability and mobile technician productivity targets will be a daily focus to ensure that the work arising and subsequent GP and profitability are optimized.
You will be fully customer-focused with an appreciation of your customers' businesses, the environment in which they operate, and the direct impact we can have on their business. To this end, you will be expected to manage planning routines and communications that maximize vehicle availability and minimize operator VOR days.
You will be expected to develop this new role and make it your own, lead by example, and have fun.
