Are you an experienced Payroll Administrator with great communication and problem-solving skills?
Do you have experience running payroll in the UK and abroad? We have registered this exciting opportunity to join our friendly and impressive client who work in fantastic offices in Central Oxford.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary Payroll Administrator Responsibilities
Ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and other payments
Preparing reports
Balancing the payroll by resolving discrepancies
Coordinating with finance and accounting teams to ensure proper payroll funding and ledger reconciliation
Acting as a point of contact for employee payroll queries
Acting as a key point-of-contact with the benefit and payroll systems providers
Ensuring data extracted from the HR system is imported accurately

Temporary Payroll Administrator Requirements
Experience of working in a stand-alone payroll function
Excellent knowledge and understanding of UK payroll related legislation and statutory requirements
International payroll experience to ensure accurate conversions
Excellent communication skills
Able to maintain confidentiality and show tact, discretion and support
Excellent attention to detail
IT savvy, with experience of payroll software and advanced Excel
Excellent organization skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
Location
Our client is located in Oxford (OX1). There is no parking onsite due to its central location, however there are excellent public transport links, as well as lots of local amenities nearby.
