The primary purpose of this role is to serve as a key support function for both operations and senior management, ensuring that the organization has the accurate and timely information necessary to make informed decisions. By delivering precise financial and production data, the role directly contributes to the strategic objectives of the business, enabling continuous improvements across various departments. The role is critical to the running of the site and to the development of the Continuous Improvement process. The role holder will be responsible for: Producing and reviewing all yield and labour reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to identify issues and areas for improvement. Challenging movements on labour reporting with operations team, changes in efficiencies / overtime should be analysed and shared with Operational Manager to enable decision making. Maintaining Challenge 10 and R&D trackers on a weekly basis, attend weekly meetings with Operations to ensure continued focus and follow up on any proposals discussed. Reviewing AFE forms with Operation / Project Management teams to ensure information is complete and at the standard required for sign off prior to Site Head of Finance Review. Supporting the Finance team with any other tasks required to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. Assisting with the preparation of the Monthly Operations CI Pack and Finance Check In pack. The Ideal Person should possess the following: Management accounts experience gained in the meat industry or other FMCG area A recognised professional accounting qualification preferably CIMA, or be in the final stages of achieving their qualification. A thorough understanding of factory process. The ability to work to tight deadlines. Effective presentation and report writing skills. Strong IT skills- Excel. Strong analytical skills.
