A vibrant Mixed School in Richmond seeks an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher with a strong background in either History or Geography to join our collaborative department. We are looking for an educator who can inspire students to explore the world and its past.

* About the Role:
o Deliver engaging and varied Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a primary focus on either History or Geography depending on your specialism.
o Develop and implement stimulating lesson plans that encourage critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and an appreciation for the interconnectedness of the humanities subjects.
o Assess student progress through a range of assessment methods, providing constructive feedback.
o Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and participate in departmental initiatives.
* Ideal Candidate:
o Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Humanities, History, or Geography.
o A strong knowledge of the secondary Humanities curriculum and effective teaching methodologies in either History or Geography.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in discussions and inquiry.
o A passion for the Humanities and the ability to make the subjects relevant and engaging.
