Monarch Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced SEMH Teacher to join a fantastic school in Rugby that specialises in supporting students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of young people aged 7 to 19. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, differentiated teaching to students with SEMH and ASC. Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs. Foster a positive and engaging classroom environment that encourages emotional and social development. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other teachers, support staff, and outside agencies. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement. Manage behaviour effectively, employing strategies that promote self-regulation and resilience. Qualifications and Experience: A relevant teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent). Experience working with students who have SEMH and Autism Spectrum Conditions. Strong understanding of effective teaching strategies for children with additional needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for making a difference in the lives of young people.
