Warehouse/Operations Administrator
Our client is a leading distributor and online retailer of motorsport merchandise to the UK and for export to Europe and several other countries, working with brands such as Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, Red Bull, McLaren, and Williams.
This role is crucial to the success of our business as it ensures that our products are distributed efficiently and effectively to meet delivery deadlines and fulfill customer needs.
They are looking for a passionate and proactive Warehouse/Operations Administrator to join their expanding team and be part of our continued growth. Someone who will take pride in their work and strive for excellence.
Warehouse - Stock and Order Management:
1. Accurately pick orders and ensure they are packed correctly in line with quality standards.
2. Focus on achieving both pick and pack targets while maintaining a clean work area.
3. Receive, check, and stock incoming deliveries in the correct locations.
4. Log inbound and outbound shipments.
5. Prepare, pick, and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
6. Place picked and packed orders in corresponding dispatch locations per service (express shipping, standard, or international deliveries).
7. Load and unload deliveries from carriers such as FedEx and DHL.
8. Report breakages or damaged products to management.
9. Replenish pick bays when necessary and notify management about out-of-stock items.
10. Use warehouse equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations.
Experience in a warehouse fulfillment environment is advantageous.
A team player with excellent communication skills, fast-paced work ethic, and outstanding attention to detail is essential.
The Race Works
Work with the head of department to manage and maintain the B2C website, sharing this task within the business. We pride ourselves on our website and the high standard of customer service that brings customers back to us.
Responsibilities:
* Print B2C orders and labels ready for same-day shipping.
* Manage warehouse operations linked to picking and packing orders.
* Liaise with customers and provide outstanding service through multiple platforms (phone, email, etc.).
* Handle customer returns and ensure stock levels are updated across inventory management systems.
* Work on the back end of the website to manage product creation, updates, and promotions.
* Collaborate with managers on website processes to enhance workflow and grow the customer base.
* Bring fresh ideas to the table.
Future Progression - Sales Development
Once you have learned the business, we will look to add sales development to your portfolio, training you to provide first-class sales service to business clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales.
* Demonstrate advanced product knowledge, including the latest trends and market demands.
* Generate new leads and identify new target markets.
* Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients.
* Manage the entire order process from start to finish.
* Advise clients on forthcoming products and special promotions.
* Create detailed sales documents for internal and external use.
* Make accurate cost calculations and provide clients with quotations.
* Assist with Ecommerce sales, including developing marketing campaigns.
* Travel to Europe may be required from time to time.

Dress Code/Office Hours/Holiday
Neat and well-presented every day, as we have customers arriving unannounced regularly. Smart casual attire is required, no tracksuits.
No headphones to be used in the warehouse.
Working hours are 9:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional requirements to work outside of these times.
6-month probation period with 26 days of annual leave.
