About the opportunity
Retail Operations Manager is a great opportunity to develop your career with us. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting and coaching our store teams to be the best they can be whilst supporting the delivery of our regional operational plans.
You will cover a geographical region, reporting to the Regional Manager.
What you will do daily
* Lead the Operations and Loss agenda across the region
* Share best practices and coach our store leaders to ensure there is an organized operating model to provide an outstanding customer experience in every store
* Deliver standards across the region including operational compliance measures
* Support the Regional Manager with customer complaints and employee relations
* Ensure that the regional deployment of clinics is set up to maximise customer availability
* Analyse trends and performance to support Regional Manager with areas of focus
* Visit stores to gain insights to further improve the operational running of a store
* Ensure that stores are safe and legal
What you will need to have
You will need to have recent Opticians store leadership experience
* Flexibility to travel across the region
* High integrity and compliance mindset
* Experience in dealing with employee relations
* A strong coach who can get to the cause of an issue and identify solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Analytical skills and the ability to use data to identify trends and improvement steps
* Able to work independently
