Job Description
Contract Scotland are working closely with a reputable fit-out contractor to source an experienced Project Manager for a large refurbishment project in Edinburgh. This esteemed organisation seeks a professional and proactive individual with demonstrable experience managing high-end fit-out projects and complex refurbishments. You will have a track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Leading the procurement of subcontractors and ensuring that they are appointed on time.
- Ensuring that site records are produced and maintained accurately and that commercial opportunities are identified.
- Taking responsibility for the construction programme and ensuring that it is accurately maintained.
- Producing client progress reports.
- Ensuring everyone on site is sufficiently trained and identifying any areas of development.
- Creating and maintaining strong working relationships with clients.
- Leading project review meetings.
- Ensuring specified quality standards are understood and achieved.
- Organising construction phase sign off and handoff with client.
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Be degree qualified in a construction-related field or come from a trade background.
- Have demonstratable management experience within a main contracting environment.
- Have experience leading projects from inception to completion.
- Be a driven and strategic individual who is confident and motivated in working collaboratively toward the success of a shared goal.
