We have an incredible opportunity to join us here at Phoenix Group as a Senior Investment Analyst to join our Policyholder Investment office team in our Asset Management function. This is a key role in the team, responsible for asset portfolio management of Policyholder Funds, covering all aspects of investment, operations, stakeholder management, stewardship and development. Key Responsibilities Lead on investment strategy, performance, portfolio construction and manager change as it relates to Policyholder Funds. Senior Stakeholder management to include representation at governance forums, committees and independent oversight bodies as required. Key day-to-day interface with internal teams including those within Pensions & Savings, Finance, Compliance, Investment Operations, Risk and Actuarial. Work with and support Portfolio Managers and the Head of Portfolio Management in delivering optimal policyholder outcomes across the fund range. Assess, design and implement consolidation and harmonisation strategies across Interface with external asset management partners where required Responsible for BAU and adhoc issues effecting Policyholder business. What we're looking for This role would suit someone with a background in customer funds with experience in any of the following areas - portfolio rebalancing, fund strategy implementation (including SAA), performance & investment risk analysis, and fund manager assessment. Minimum Requirements - Experience (Essential) In-depth knowledge and experience of investment markets, investment strategy and fund management methodologies, gained in the asset management industry. Understanding of all aspects of investment management, investment operations, regulatory environment, evolution, policyholder outcomes and product types. Experience and knowledge of investment management operating models and structures through to fund structures and asset classes across; equities, fixed income and alternatives (illiquids) and their application in Policyholder funds and products. Deep knowledge of transaction approval processes management (investment allocation, capital model etc.) Policyholder fund governance, coupled with a broad understanding of the legal, tax and regulatory environment. Experience of interacting with senior stakeholders across multiple disciplines i.e. Product & Propositional, Actuarial, Finance, Operations and Risk. Qualifications CFA/SIE (desirable) Personal Attributes & Skills Acts on own initiative, able to make logical decisions and formulate judgements. Able to develop and maintain communication and relationships at all levels of the Group across different business channels.
