EDI Operations Executive (Athena Swan Executive) - The Role:
Advance HE is looking for a dedicated and detail-orientated team player to join us as we strive to make higher education the best it can be. Your focus will be on managing operational support for the Athena Swan Ireland Charter – so whether you’re ensuring the smooth operation of awards panels, organising events, or coordinating the recruitment, selection, and training of reviewers, you’ll be sure to make your mark at Advance HE.
As our Athena Swan Executive (Ireland), you’ll manage all operational and administrative aspects required for the efficient delivery of the Athena Swan Ireland Charter for gender equality. This includes managing the delivery of the operational plan, communicating with stakeholders from higher education and research institutes all over Ireland, and quality assurance of records and systems. You will also lead process improvement initiatives, streamline systems and procedures, and optimise digital approaches.
One day you could be liaising with award applicants and reviewers, and the next ensuring the effective operation of the Athena Swan Ireland Awards process from scheduling panel meetings to communicating results, providing top-tier customer service throughout the peer review cycle. You will also support both internal and external meetings and events.
EDI Operations Executive (Athena Swan Executive) - Knowledge, skills and experience
We are look for:
• Must live within the Republic of Ireland (working remotely)
• Proven experience in project or programme management.
• Strong skills in using MS Office packages, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce high-quality reports.
• Experience maintaining accurate records and documentation, working with confidential and sensitive information.
