Applicants should be able to display skills, experience and qualifications within sports and recreation, arts and creative activities or a combination of these themes.
Suitable candidates will have experience of supervising groups of children and of working with a broad range of children including those with disabilities.

Main duties
To organise, promote and deliver a varied programme suitable for the target audience, involving the setup and dismantling of equipment and ensuring participants’ safety and well-being throughout the session.
To deliver professional and safe classes in accordance with national governing body guidelines where required and as directed by the Manager.
To ensure entertaining and safe activity sessions for school children if applicable.
Performing safety checks of equipment for each session. Assist with dismantling equipment at the end of each session.
To complete evaluations for each session.
To undertake general cleaning and operational duties when required and maintain standards of hygiene and cleanliness of all areas, at all times.
To undertake administrative duties as required by the role, particularly in terms of registers and payments, respecting confidentiality at all times.
To assist the Manager in the delivery of high quality coaching and instruction of a high quality customer service and up to date advice to the level of qualifications.
To ensure effective communications and development within facilities is achieved.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
Essential:
Self management
Contribute positively to the workings of a team
Experience in the industry of delivering activities for children
Good understanding of health and safety
Good communication skills
Customer care skills
Desirable:
Recognised qualification that relates directly to the activity being delivered, example sports coaching.
First aid qualified
Ability to speak Welsh
