Senior Administrator - Client Accountant

ROLE OVERVIEW
PURPOSE OF JOB
To perform allocated tasks efficiently and to a high standard to ensure that the team delivers the required services within the deadlines. To work independently on tasks and where possible to self-manage own workload.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
* Maintenance of accurate information in key systems, including bank statements, transactions, bookkeeping, preparing financials and accounting records for a portfolio of clients.
* Manual entry of bookkeeping transactions from client bank/portfolio statements and review of automated bookkeeping for bank/portfolio accounts with a transactional data feed into the client ledger.
* Raise and resolve any queries on a timely basis and liaise with other team members or the client to ensure timely resolution of matters arising within the required deadlines.
* Preparation of information for the client, including portfolio information, bookkeeping, Trial Balances, or financial statements and/or liquidation accounts.
* Responsible for work on more complex entities/areas.
* Actively participate in calls/meetings with the client to discuss matters arising and track work against the deliverable schedule.
* Provide support to junior team members and the team Manager as required.
* Adhere to JTC core values and expected behaviors.
* Any other duties as deemed necessary by Management.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
* Strong bookkeeping skills.
* Very good attention to detail.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Good numeracy.
* Good IT skills - working knowledge of Excel is essential.
* 3 years plus experience as a Partially Qualified Accountant.
