Main Responsibilities:
1. Hold a caseload of clients, delivering goal-based interventions to support their wellbeing.
2. Prevent more serious mental health problems in children and young people by early identification.
3. Plan, deliver and review individual and group therapeutic interventions for specific patients.
4. Routinely measure clinical outcomes and deliver evidence-based clinical intervention.
5. Provide a direct service to children and young people and their families.
6. Oversee the development of Wellbeing Coaches and other practitioners within the service.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Minimum of a second-class Bachelor’s degree from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard in a relevant subject (e.g. psychology) AND/OR a registerable professional qualification in a relevant subject.
2. Further professional knowledge and skills gained through accredited CPD courses/workshops/study/in-house training.
3. 2 years experience in relevant area of mental health practice.
4. Good understanding and experience of using Routine Outcome Measures.
5. Application of Evidence-based psychological therapies relevant to the clinical service.
6. Experience of delivering and managing clinical risk.
7. Understanding of child development and psychosocial influences.
8. Commitment to continuous professional development.
9. Knowledge and skills in effective communication.
10. Ability to work autonomously while integrating effectively with others.
11. Access to a car and full driving licence is essential requirement for this role.
